They need intensive therapy, complex treatments, but also what is very simple and natural, i.e. access to mom and breast milk - stresses our guest Aleksandra Wesołowska, MD, PhD, Head of the Laboratory for Research on Breast Milk and Lactation
During the talk, we will learn, among other things, why breastfeeding is the gold standard in infant feeding, its importance for premature babies, and whether it affects the mother's health. Dr. Wesołowska will also talk about milk banks - how they work and who can benefit from them.
