Established in 2020, the aim of the Foundation for Students and Graduates of the Medical University of Warsaw "Circle of Medics", is to support activities of a cultural, scientific, educational and integrative nature for students and graduates of our University.
"Circle of Medics" was established by students, doctoral students and graduates of the Medical University of Warsaw, who are active at the University within the Student Government Board and Doctoral Student Government Board as well as within the Senate and Senate Committees, acting as the University's delegates to the Higher Medical Education Committee of the Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland, the Doctoral Forum of Medical Universities and the National Council of Doctoral Students, participants of certified training courses, among others: The Health Care Leaders, YoungMBA, Summer School for Local Government Leaders, Student Rights Experts.
An important aspect of the Foundation's activities is the popularisation of knowledge about the "Circle of Medics" - an association founded in 1916 uniting students of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Warsaw, from which the Foundation takes its name. "The Circle" in the 1920s and 1930s carried out a wide range of cultural, scientific and educational activities and the culmination of these efforts was the opening of the "Circle” - Józef Piłsudski House of Medics headquarters in 1936 in Oczki Street.
