Marching for transplantation

The 24th Run for New Life was held in Wisła. This is the largest event in Poland supporting transplantation. It was attended by transplant recipients, people from the world of culture and sports, high school students and representatives of transplant medicine. Representatives of our university could not be missing from this group.

In fact, it was not a run, but a Nordic walking march. Each participant had to walk their section of the route with poles. This year 87 four-person relay teams participated. The team with the best time was the winner of the run. But it wasn't about first place, but about promoting health, raising knowledge of transplantation procedures and building positive attitudes towards organ donation.
