Students from MUW took part in the deliberations of the Senate Health Committee

Tuesday's meeting, which discussed, among other things, amendments to the Pharmaceutical Law and the Law on the National Oncology Network, was attended by nursing students accompanied by Artur Białoszewski from the Department of Prevention of Environmental Hazard, Allergology and Immunology UCC MUW, who organized the visit to the Senate. The group met with Health Minister Izabela Leszczyna and committee chairwoman Beata Małecka-Libera.

Participants included: Izabela Chwalesiuk, a member of SKN Start from the Basics, Aleksandra Chlebowska of SKN StatMed, and Jakub Zbrzeźniak, who is doing his internship at the Department of Prevention of Environmental Hazard, Allergology and Immunology UCC MUW.

The students were able to attend the Senate Health Committee meeting thanks to the initiative of Edyta Krzych-Falta, MD, PhD, Head of the Department of Basic Nursing MUW.

- Our students are very involved in creating the image of the nursing profession in society, and they also take an active part in a series of meetings with experts in the health care sector organized at the department - explains Edyta Krzych-Fałta, MD, PhD, and adds: - The opportunity to participate in the deliberations of the Senate Health Committee is a great opportunity to broaden their perspective on current issues in health care and the education of the medical profession.
