Medical University of Warsaw researcher elected president elect of EANM

Associate Professor Jolanta Kunikowska, Ph.D., M.D., Department of Nuclear Medicine, Medical University of Warsaw, elected president elect of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM).
Associate Professor Jolanta Kunikowska, Ph.D was elected during EANM 2018 Congress October 13-17 in Düsseldorf. Prof. Kunikowska will serve as president elect in 2019-2020 and as president of EANM in 2021-2022.
Prof. Kunikowska has been active for many years in both Polish and European scientific research bodies. She is a member of the Polish Society of Nuclear Medicine, and since 2014 she has served on the board of the European Society of Nuclear Medicine as Secretary and Treasurer.
Prof. Kunikowska’s contribution to nuclear medicine includes personalized treatment approach to neuroendocrine tumors, brain gliomas and the use of new markers, such as prostate-specific antigen, for neoplastic disease detection.
