Ewa Czochrowska, M.D., Ph.D., from the Department of Orthodontics at Medical University of Warsaw received The Distinguished Teacher Award of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS). The award recognizes the contributions of a teacher or researcher in the field of orthodontics.
Dr Czochrowska is the first Polish orthodontist to be honored with this award. As recipient, she will give two one-day lectures in different parts of Europe.
Founded in 1907 and based in London, EOS is the oldest and largest society in Europe. The Society publishes the European Journal of Orthodontics and organizes annual orthodontic congresses in Europe. EOS cooperates with national orthodontic societies across Europe, including the Polish Orthodontic Society, of which Dr. Czochrowska is President. Its purpose is to advance orthodontics through research cooperation in different fields of study in Europe and the world, to bring benefits to society.
