Prof. Barańczyk-Kuźma, MD, PhD, Rector’s Plenipotentiary for ERASMUS and CEEPUS Coordination and the former Head of the Chair and Department of Biochemistry, has been awarded the title of the HONORARY PROFESSOR at the Transilvania University in Brasov. The award ceremony took place on June 4th, 2019 in Brasov, at the Medical Faculty Council session, chaired by the Dean, Prof. Marius Moga.
The Transilvania University in Brasov is the largest university in central Romania, which celebrated the 90th Anniversary of its foundation last year. Over 19 000 academics study there at 18 faculties. Prof. Anna Barańczyk-Kuźma has been actively cooperating with the Medical Faculty of the University, not only as the ERASMUS, but also the CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) coordinator, within which she has participated in annual didactic meetings, scientific conferences, summer schools for students and young doctors from Central Europe.
This prestigious title represents the recognition of Prof. Anna Barańczyk-Kuźma’s contribution in the cooperation between both universities.
