On October 28th, Hidehiko Maruyama, MD, PhD, from the National Center for Child Health and Development in Tokyo shared his knowledge and experience with MUW students and faculty in his lecture “Short-term outcome of preterm infants”. The lecture took place in the Pediatric Teaching Clinical Hospital.
The mission of the National Center for Child Health and Development in Tokyo - one of the best neonatal centers in the world - is to advance the health and well-being of infants, children, adolescents, young adults and their mothers by providing first-rate clinical care, innovative research, and education.
Doctor Hidehiko Maruyama’s visit took place under the cooperation program with the Department of Neonatology, directed by Professor Bożena Kociszewska-Najman.
