Dear University Community,
In light of the information from Italy about subsequent outbreaks of the coronavirus in the regions of Lombardy, Veneto, Piedmont, Emilia Roman and Lazio, I urge all of you who have visited Italy, and especially these parts in the north of the country, in the last several days or earlier, to take necessary precautions.

There is no reason to panic however, it is recommended that you take measures to protect yourself and others.
- Avoid large social gatherings.
- If you are feeling ill, have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, stay home and seek medical attention.
- Stay informed and follow advice given by your healthcare provider and national health authorities here: GIS message: https://gis.gov.pl/aktualnosci/nowy-koronawirus-sars-cov-2-zalecenia-2/
I look to the academic community of the Medical University of Warsaw to treat all persons that might be at risk with understanding and rationality.
