Dr. Magdalena Winiarska, PhD, from the Department of Immunology, MUW is the project’s Principal Investigator. The Norwegian Partner is Oslo University Hospital and Pure Biologics S.A. The total value of the project is 6,572,725.00PLN.
The second research project is called "Theranostic Exosomes in Personalized Cancer Nanomedicine TEPCAN." Prof. Ireneusz Grudziński from the Department of Applied Toxicology, MUW, is also a Principal Investigator. The Norwegian Partners include University of Bergen, the Norwegian Institute for Air Research and Norgenotech A/S . Other Partners include the Polish Institute of Chemistry and Nuclear Technology and University of Warsaw. The total value of the project is 6,475,770.11PLN.
POLNOR 2019 is an "Applied Research" program of the Innovation, Research, Education and Competitiveness priority sector. It is financed under the 3rd edition of the Norwegian Funds and the European Economic Area (EEA) for the years 2014-2021 and managed by the NCBiR. The objective of ‘Applied Research’ program is to enhance the performance of Polish applied research in Poland through research cooperation with Norwegian universities and enterprises.
Research and development areas that are supported by POLNOR 2019 include: Welfare, health and care; Digital and industry; Food and natural resources; Energy, transport and climate; Social and economic development; and, Unmanned vehicles. MUW Projects Tepcan and ALTERCAR were ranked top in the thematic area Welfare, health and care.
