Mini-grants for English Division students - annoucement

The Medical University of Warsaw (WUM) has allocated PLN 48,000 for student mini-grant applications (up to PLN 8,000 each). Student mini-grants are awarded to foster academic excellence and collaboration, and maximize opportunities for students of the English Division. Grants are open to all subject areas within medicine but excluding dental and pharmaceutical sciences. Applicants must be actively engaged in the proposed project and collaboration between students is strongly encouraged.

Guidelines for successful applications can be found in attached Regulations of the Student Mini-Grant Project Contest.
Grant applications will be accepted till 1 June. To apply please use the application form and send it via e-mail to Adam Zieliński (MUW Science and Technology Transfer Department) at adam.zielinski@wum.edu.pl.

Grants awarded are to be spent by the end of 2021.

Funds can be used for reagents, materials, small equipment, internal and outsourced services as well as to cover the costs of domestic & international collaboration. Any fixed assets purchased within the project funding becomes the property of the Medical University of Warsaw
Grant recipients are required to submit a grant report upon completion of the project. Medical University of Warsaw also requests grant recipients be willing to present their results to the public with the help of WUM press office (most likely through social media).

Take note: It is a formal requirement to notify the public about your university’s affiliation and how WUM supported the project. Therefore grant recipients are kindly asked to include the this information in their notifications. The exact wording can be found in the Regulations.
