The signatories of the Magna Charta Universitatum, commit themselves to follow the fundamental principles and values of this declaration, including the principles of academic freedom of teaching and conducting scientific research, as well as the principle of institutional autonomy, being the directive of good managing and functioning of the university.
Participation in the Magna Charta Observatory aims at strengthening the role of each university through exchange of experiences and establishing cooperation with other recognized universities, attending conferences, webinars, workshops, as well as taking part in educational and scientific surveys, coordinated by Magna Charta Observatory.
Official 32 Anniversary of the Magna Charta Universitatum, celebrated under the motto: “University values and responsibilities: responding to the challenges of the future”, will be held in June 2021.
