Invitation to the lecture of Prof. Peter Sicinski entitled: “Targeting the cell cycle machinery in cancer”

We encourage you to attend the lecture, which will be given by Professor Peter Sicinski, pathologist and molecular biologist from Harvard Medical School (Department of Cancer Biology, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute) on May 19 at 4 pm. The meeting, conducted in English, will focus on the latest achievements in the development of new anti-cancer treatments.

The lecture will be held in Aula A of the Didactic Center (admission free, limited number of places), the speech of Prof. Peter Sicinski can also be followed via the YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/FsMEJH73k9M

After the meeting, those interested will be able to meet personally with Prof. Sicinski, who will answer questions in detail and also provide consultation on research works.

Prof. Peter Sicinski graduated from our University in 1984, he also received an honorary doctorate from his alma mater. In 1997, Dr. Sicinski joined the faculty of Harvard and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where his research focuses on genes in the cell cycle machinery involved in normal cell development and cancer.
