On 24th of May this year, the students associated in the IFMSA-Poland Warsaw organized a blood donation campaign "Stream of Life".
Twenty-eight people participated in the donation. All those willing to donate blood had to fill in a questionnaire and undergo a routine examination to detect factors that contraindicate blood donation in a specially prepared ambulance of the Regional Centre for Blood Donation and Haemotherapy.
The campaign was a response to the ever-increasing need for blood. Through this initiative, employees and students of MUW had an excellent opportunity and comfortable conditions to join the blood donor community.
The Stream of Life is organized periodically by IFMSA-Poland Warsaw Branch within the framework of the Standing Committee on Public Health - SCOPH.
