On 3 August 2021, Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong, the Rector of the Medical University of Warsaw, and Prof. Maciej Krawczyk, the President of the National Council of Physiotherapists, signed a letter of intent concerning the will of cooperation for the development of professional education of physiotherapists.
The cooperation between the university and the local government will concern activities in areas including, among others, physiotherapy in cardiology, surgery, pulmonology, pediatrics and oncology. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Zbigniew Wroński, KRF Vice President for Science and Education.
The initiative to sign the document came from the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine MUW, Prof. Dariusz Białoszewski, MD, PhD, and Prof. Maciej Krawczyk, the President of the National Council of Physiotherapists.
