Professor Kazimierz Niemczyk with the title of doctor honoris causa

Our scientist is the head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical University of Warsaw. He was honoured by Kyiv’s Oleksandr Bohomolt National Medical University (BNMU) for his active contribution to medical education and the development of science at the Ukrainian university.

Prof. Kazimierz Niemczyk received the diploma and the medal of honorary professor (dhc) from Prof. Yuri Leonidovych Kuchyn, rector of the BNMU, Alexander Nikolaevich Naumenko, vice-rector for Scientific-Pedagogical Work and Postgraduate Education, and Prof. Sergiy Zemskov, vice-rector for Research and Innovation. The ceremony took place during the Scientific Council. Its meeting was also attended by Prof. Julia Valerievna Deeva, Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at BNMU, and dr Kateryna Terentieva. Also present were representatives of our university, dr hab. Antoni Bruzgielewicz and dr Robert Bartoszewicz. Both scientists work at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical University of Warsaw.

The beginning of the cooperation between the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of our university and the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of BNMU dates back to 2015. The universities carry out joint scientific work, train Ukrainian specialists in master class courses and organise scientific and training conventions. The units adopted a programme for further joint scientific activities in otorhinolaryngology.
