The construction of a modern Center for Medical Simulation (CSM) is one of the key investments of our University. CSM provides hands-on training in a setting that mirrors a hospital, outpatient clinic or ambulance. Students, trainees, and specialized medics - doctors, nurses, midwives, and paramedics - learn to perform basic and complex invasive procedures in a safe environment. The center is particularly useful in the first stages of medical training prior to activities with patients, and provides an opportunity to hone skills related to the treatment of less common conditions.
The new building of the MUW CSM, which will be located in Pawińskiego St., will significantly increase the capabilities of the currently operating simulation center and will broaden the scope of conducted education.
After many stages of preparatory works, a tender procedure has just been launched for the design and execution of construction and installation works as well as CSM functional solutions in the design and build system. The deadline for submitting bids is January 31, 2022.
