The project aims to create a common platform for OSCE examinations (the Objective Structured Clinical Examination). These exams serve to verify practical skills and are slowly becoming an integral part of the education system in the medical and health sciences. OSCE exams are very labour-intensive to prepare, and they also need the proper infrastructure, which will be created by the expansion of the Center for Medical Simulation.
Particularly noteworthy is the fact that renowned European universities have received the DOMINOS project with a high ranking on the Shanghai Ranking List (ARWU). The Medical University of Warsaw's partners in the DOMINOS project are the following: Université de Paris (ARWU 73) from France, KU Leuven (ARWU 87) from Belgium, Univerza v Ljubljani (ARWU 501-600) from Slovenia, Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza" (ARWU 151-200) from Italy, Humboldt-Universität from Germany. Recall that in this year's AWRU ranking link the Medical University of Warsaw is the top-ranked Polish medical university and one of only 10 Polish universities listed among the top 1,000 globally.
