We should mention that the prize was awarded to Mariusz Tomaniak, MD, PhD, for a series of publications entitled: New strategies for antiplatelet pharmacotherapy after percutaneous coronary interventions in patients at high risk of ischemic and hemorrhagic complications.
The Ministry of Health gives its awards to 25 academic teachers each year. When making a decision, it takes into account the originality and novelty of the achievement, its importance for the development of health care on an international, national or regional scale and its importance for science or scientific discipline in which it was obtained.
After the graduation ceremony, the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Health met with the Rector and then with the representatives of the student self-government.
