During the lecture, Professor Piotr Siciński - pathologist and molecular biologist from Harvard Medical School (Department of Cancer Biology, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute) will discuss the strategy used for selecting research projects in his laboratory. He will demonstrate the process of conducting a project, deciding on the direction of research, and managing the risk. He will also discuss the criteria he uses to select a journal for possible publication. The lecture will be interactive, with audience participation.
The lecture will be held in English. Attendance at the lecture is free. Willingness to participate should be reported to biurojakosci@wum.edu.pl by April 14 this year.
