During the ceremony at the Presidential Palace, the nominations of professors were received by a total of 78 academic teachers as well as science and art professionals, including the following staff from our university:
Beata Pyrżak, professor of medical sciences and health, head of the Department of Pediatrics and Endocrinology, UCK, Medical University of Warsaw,
professor of medical sciences and health sciences Robert Gałązkowski, vice-dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, head of the Medical Rescue Department,
professor of medical sciences and health sciences Witold Rongies, Department of Rehabilitation,
professor of medical sciences and health sciences Mariusz Sacharczuk, Department of Pharmacodynamics,
Marcin Sobczak, professor of medical sciences and health sciences, head of the Department of Biomaterials Chemistry.
The President of the Republic of Poland confers professorships on the basis of a proposal from the Council of Scientific Excellence. The decision is made in the form of a decision, previously countersigned by the Prime Minister. Individual acts conferring the title on professors are received from the hands of the President.
