The session was held in a hybrid form. It was opened by dr hab. Agnieszka Bazylko, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical University of Warsaw. The Dean of this faculty, dr hab. Joanna Kolmas, also spoke. The auditorium of prof. B. Olszewski in the building of the Faculty of Pharmacy hosted the winners, namely the authors of the 10 best M.Sc. theses in pharmacy and the 7 best works in medical analysis. The theses were created in the academic year 2020/2021. Their authors went through the first stage of the competition and now, in the final, they presented their assumptions and research results in a multimedia form. They gave their presentations before members of the jury.
During the lecture session, one could also listen to interesting lectures by our scientists. Dr hab. Olga Ciepiela talked about hypercoagulability in the course of plasma cell dyscrasias, and Dr. Magdalena Makarewicz-Wujec delivered a lecture entitled: "The influence of nutritional factors on inflammatory markers and the course of the disease in cardiac patients."
There was also an audience that participated in the event via online transmission and voted for the Audience Award electronically.
On the other hand, individual places in the competition for master's theses were awarded by the Members of the Organizing Committee after counting the number of points that each author received from the members of the jury. Points were awarded in both the presentation and the poster session. The latter was previously carried out in a stationary form in the main hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The results were announced and the awards were presented by dr hab. Piotr Luliński - vice-dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
