The "Graduates on the labor market" is one of the seven criteria of the Ranking of Academic Universities. It is established on the basis of a nationwide study of the economic fate of graduates conducted by the Ministry of Education and Science using data from the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS). The survey results are from 2015-2019. The index considers two parameters: graduate earnings relative to earnings in the county of residence and graduate employability - measured by the risk of unemployment relative to the unemployment rate in the county of residence. It also introduces an adjustment to the percentage of graduates covered by the ELA system (i.e., registered with Social Insurance Institution). The data takes into account the situation in the first year after graduation. Second place for our university is a confirmation of the quality of education provided at MUW and the importance of the diploma on the labor market.
Taking into account all the criteria of the Ranking of Academic Universities: Prestige, Graduates on the labor market, Scientific potential, Innovation, Scientific effectiveness, Education conditions and Internationalization, MUW ranked 12th among 96 universities (both public and non-public).
Our university can also boast high positions in the Ranking of Study Fields. This year's edition features 73 fields and groups of study, selected for those most popular among university applicants. Six of our educational offerings were on the podium of their respective lists. These are:
