During the ceremonial Inauguration of the Academic Year, Maciej Miłkowski, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Health, handed over a symbolic check for more than PLN 2 million to our university.
This is a subsidy within the framework of funds from the state budget. The amount on the check - PLN 2,052,314. The funds will be used to retrofit medical equipment to the MUW teaching hospitals. And exactly - where will the money go and what will it be spent on?
The Independent Public Clinical Ophthalmology Hospital plans to purchase a digital retinal laser therapy system and a system for electronic transmission of imaging studies. And at the University Center for Women's and Newborn Health Ltd. the donated funds will be used to buy ultrasound equipment, including a Voluson E10 ultrasound machine.
