According to data published by the Center for Medical Examinations, a total of 970 doctors from our university took the LEK exam, and 967 passed. The average score they achieved was 168.42 points. The maximum score they earned was 190 points. Nationwide, it was only two points higher.
Of the 576 students registered for the exam, 574 passed. They obtained an average of 167.06 points. Their maximum score was 190 points. Only the students from the Medical University of Wroclaw scored a point more.
As for MUW graduates, of the 394 passers only one failed. The average was 170.41 points. The maximum number of points scored was 190. In Poland, it was 192 points.
In all these rankings, MUW ranks third. In the first position with highest score is only one student from the University of Technology and Humanities in Radom. Second was the Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University.
The LEK exam can be taken by either a doctor or a person who has completed 10 semesters from a six-year master's degree in medicine. The exam has a form of a test consisting of 200 tasks (5 choices, only 1 answer is correct).
