It was awarded - as the first in Poland - to the Chair and Department of Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Transplantology UCC MUW. The certificate was awarded by two prestigious societies - the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders as well as the European Hemophilia Consortium.
Comprehensive care includes not only optimal treatment of rare hemorrhagic diathesis, but also rehabilitation, dental care, psychological care and emergency assistance. The award honors more than 40 years of care for patients with rare hemorrhagic diathesis. The head of the Department is Prof. Paweł Łaguna.
The certificate is valid until 2025.
