About the Symposium

The International Symposium on Performance Science (ISPS) is biennial meeting of performers and scientists that provides platform to discuss and debate all facets of performance. ISPS 2023 will be hosted by the Chopin University of Music and the Medical University of Warsaw on 17-20 August 2023.

The ISPS 2023 theme, Performance Care and Careers, is intended to encourage discussion and debate on connections between performance, wellbeing, and society. Specific research topics, fields of study, and methodological approaches have been left open intentionally to encourage interdisciplinary exchange.
