On January 10 this year, President Andrzej Duda handed out professorial nominations. Among the appointed were academic staff from the Medical University of Warsaw, who received the title of professor of medical sciences and health sciences in the discipline of medical sciences.
The nomination acts were awarded to: Prof. Piotr Stanisław Janik of the Chair and Department of Neurology and Prof. Piotr Stefan Miśkiewicz of the Chair and Department of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
During the ceremony, held at the Presidential Palace, 75 academic teachers and employees of science and the arts received professorial nominations.
