Izabela Leszczyna, Minister of Health, visited the Medical University of Warsaw at the invitation of Rector Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong. During the visit, she learned about the project to establish a Center for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at MUW.
During the meeting, more than just psychiatry was discussed. The Minister visited the Children's Clinical Hospital UCC MUW, where she was able to see firsthand the work of specialists. She also visited the newly established Medical Simulation Center: the simulated operating rooms, delivery rooms, ED and ambulance simulator. In this state-of-the-art facility, MUW students can safely acquire practical skills.
