The laboratory has been equipped with a modern angiograph. The high-end equipment was presented to the invited guests by Marek Roik, MD, PhD, Head of this department. In turn, Prof. Piotr Pruszczyk, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine and Cardiology with the Center for Diagnosis and Treatment of Venous Thromboembolism, told how the project was carried out and thanked everyone involved in its implementation.
The investment was made possible thanks to funds obtained from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (from an earmarked grant for the implementation of an investment related to scientific activity, i.e. for the purchase of scientific and research equipment entitled “Advanced digital angiography system with equipment”) as well as from the Medical University of Warsaw and the University Clinical Center MUW.
The importance of the event is evidenced by the fact that representatives of the university's authorities were present: Prof. Agnieszka Cudnoch-Jędrzejewska, Vice Rector for Clinical Affairs and Investments, Prof. Marek Kuch, Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Education, and Prof. Michał Grąt, Vice Rector for International Relations, Development and Promotion.
