The Practical Course of Transplantology have been held regularly since 2007 and serve as an essential educational initiative for specialists from various medical fields involved in treating patients with end-stage organ failure requiring transplantation. Over the years, the course has hosted numerous distinguished experts from Poland and abroad, who have shared their knowledge and experience, contributing to the improvement of post-transplant patient care in the country.
This year’s course gathered 170 participants, bringing the total number of attendees across 12 editions to 1,849, highlighting the ongoing need for education and skill development in this rapidly evolving medical specialty.  A key outcome of these courses has been the publication of monographies covering the topics of each year's lectures. To date, 10 volumes have been published under the collective title Practical Transplantology, edited by Prof. Leszek Pączek, Prof. Krzysztof Mucha, and Prof. Bartosz Foroncewicz. These monographies serve as valuable resources for course participants and the whole medical community.
