Applications for the minister's scholarships were evaluated by the experts of an advisory panel composed of medical school researchers. From MUW, the scholarships were awarded to: Grzegorz Procyk, Jaromir Jan Hunia, Wiktoria Dominika Stańska, Jakub Michał Zimodro, Przemysław Seweryn Kasiak, Agata Maria Gaweł, Paweł Franciszek Tyrna, Jaromir Bartosz Tomasik.
The ceremony was attended by the rectors of the medical universities, our students were accompanied by Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong.
The Minister of Health awarded a total of 49 scholarships to medical students. 47 for academic achievements, and 2 for sports achievements. The winners represented eight medical universities. In addition to MUW, these were: Medical University of Lublin (13 scholarship holders), Medical University of Silesia in Katowice (8 scholarship holders), Medical University of Lodz (7 scholarship holders), Wroclaw Medical University (6 scholarship holders), Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin (3 scholarship holders), Medical University of Białystok (2 scholarship holders), Medical University of Poznań (2 scholarship holders).The amount of the award - PLN 17,000.
