Funds for the purchase of the generators were raised through the Live Healthy Foundation. And the initiator of the aid campaign was Professor Mariusz Gujski, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences MUW and honorary doctor of the O. O. Bogomolets National Medical University (NMU).
On June 28, the specialized equipment was delivered to Ukraine. It was received by NMU Rector Yuri Kuchyn together with Vice Rector for Research and Innovation Prof. Serhiy Zemskov.
The Kiev university has received two high-power generators with all the necessary components, as well as 15 solar generators. The solar generators will go to the university's educational buildings. Whereas, the high-power generators will work for the university's clinic and Stomatcenter. These units provide continuous professional medical assistance to Kiev residents, military personnel and the wounded, so it is important that they can operate continuously, regardless of power outages.
