Continued cooperation
– We cooperate in many areas, most recently most intensively in the area of training on emergency medicine and tactical medicine. I was recently in Ukraine in connection with the establishment of a training center there at the Clinical Center for Emergency and Disaster Medicine in Ivano-Frankivsk – recalled Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong. – There is also a group of Ukrainian students and doctoral students studying at our university under the Erasmus+ program – the Rector added.
What was the purpose of the visit
– The current visit to Warsaw is aimed at developing cooperation in dentistry, nursing and one of our newer courses, physiotherapy – explained Prof. Mykola Rozhko.
The Rector of the National Medical University in Ivano-Frankivsk was impressed by our modern University Dental Center. He is a dentist himself, and Polish students at MUW also benefit from translations of his publications.
Soon our experts will go to Ukraine again
Prof. Robert Gałązkowski: – The National Medical University of Ivano-Frankivsk is a university with which, I can confidently say, we have friendly relations. We have been cooperating for 14 years, and the time of the ongoing war has brought us even closer. Together we have created the first tactical medicine teaching center in Ukraine, which we will soon certify. Among other things, we plan to provide training for Ukrainian educators in teaching emergency medicine.
