Student Nobel Prize for Paulina Kalman from the field of medicine

Paulina Kalman is the winner of the 15th Student Nobel Prize in the “Social Activity” category. As chairwoman of the Student Onko-Forum (SOF), she was recognized for promoting oncology - as an important, necessary and attractive specialty - among medical students and graduates.

Paulina Kalman is also the chairman of the “Kindley” Student Research Group at the Department of General and Transplant Surgery MUW, as well as vice-chairman of the “Onkosfera” Multidisciplinary Oncology Student Research Group at the Maria Sklodowska-Curie National Cancer Institute - National Research Institute.

Student Nobel Prize Gala

The Student Nobel Prize ceremony was held on Saturday, May 25. That day also marked the beginning of one of the most important initiatives of the Student Onko-Forum - the annual National Oncology Conference “Student Onko-Forum 2024” with the participation of many distinguished experts, during which current topics in oncology are discussed. Receiving the statuette, Paulina Kalman warmly thanked her colleagues involved in organizing the SOF conference.
