Success of AZS WUM handball players

The team won bronze in the Academic Championships of Warsaw and Mazovia. In the match for third place, the players faced the AZS SGGW team, beating their opponents by as many as ten goals.

Handball players played a match last weekend. In the first match, our players faced the AWF Warsaw team, which plays in the Central League every day. They had to acknowledge the superiority of their opponents, who play handball professionally. In the match for third place they defeated their rivals from SGGW by ten goals.

Team composition

Amelia Śliwińska, Anna Kupczak, Iga Radzikowska, Aniela Ruszczak, Joanna Pergoł, Maja Wincenciak, Agata Rejnat, Emilia Śledź, Alicja Teper; and goalkeepers: Laura Mikuła, Magdalena Warych, played in Saturday's games. The team was supported by the injured players: Julia Sposób and Aleksandra Szredzka. The team trains under the guidance of Paweł Krawczyk.

AZS WUM handball players, after winning third place in Mazovia, will advance to the Academic Championships of Poland, which they will play in May.
