Institutions that have been awarded the HR Excellence in Research title are subject to regular evaluation by experts appointed by the EC. Such an inspection visit took place at MUW on September 19. Representatives of EU institutions evaluated the activities of our university. We are still waiting for their report.
It is worth recalling that the implementation of the HRS4R Strategy obliges the university to comply with the principles and guidelines of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
In practice, this means that scientific units commit to providing favorable working conditions, career development, mobility and transparent recruitment processes for researchers. In this way, they enhance not only their own competitiveness but that of the entire European Research Area (ERA). It also raises the attractiveness of the EU science system globally.
The meeting with EC experts was attended by: Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong, Rector; Prof. Agnieszka Cudnoch-Jędrzejewska, Vice Rector for Human Resources; Prof. Paweł Włodarski, Vice Rector for International Relations, Development and Promotion; Prof. Piotr Pruszczyk, Vice Rector for Science and Technology Transfer; Piotr Luliński, MD, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Prof. Urszula Demkow, Rector's Plenipotentiary for Equal Treatment at the Medical University of Warsaw; Anna Zaleska-Zmijewska, MD, PhD, Rector's Plenipotentiary for Persons with Disabilities; Prof. Michal Grąt, Director of the Doctoral School; mec.
