WUM and NIL will jointly offer training for doctors and dentists

On Tuesday, October 31, professor Zbigniew Gaciong, Rector of WUM, and Łukasz Jankowski, chairman of the Supreme Medical Chamber (NIL), signed an agreement on the organization of postgraduate training for doctors and dentists. Our school will be responsible for the development of the training program and the choice of teaching staff, whereas the NIL Main Research, Innovation and Training Center will take care of organizational matters, including registration and integrated communication with course participants.

Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong, Rector of WUM: – The need for lifelong learning is an integral part of the medical professions. The level of such education has to be maximized in order to fulfill the people’s healthcare needs and to provide responsible treatment. The agreement signed with NIL gives doctors and dentists an extra opportunity to gain new experience under the supervision of the best academic teachers from WUM Medical University of Warsaw, experts recognized in Poland and internationally in multiple fields of medicine.

– We are keen on assuring the best possible quality of postgraduate training – says Łukasz Jankowski, chairman of NRL. – Particularly today, when more and more faculties of medicine are being opened at universities which are not prepared for operating these, we have to watch for high training standards during each phase of medical doctors’ career. Our collaboration with WUM Medical University of Warsaw guarantees valuable training.

The agreement was made for an indefinite period.
