MUW and the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) extend cooperation agreement

In 2020 our university and the Social Insurance Institution have entered into an agreement to jointly carry out active development activities - educational and scientific, and to implement the "Academy of Social Insurance" project. On Friday, June 30, an annex extending the agreement was signed by the Social Insurance Institution President Prof. Gertruda Uścińska and Rector Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong.

Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong: - Knowledge in the area of social insurance is one of the elements used in daily medical practice. Continued cooperation between MUW and the Social Insurance Institution is aimed at preparing students and employees of our university to function in the health care system based on current rules and legislation.

The agreement includes the organization of consultations, lectures and training for students and employees about social insurance, as well as cooperation in the area of studies and postgraduate programs organized by MUW. It also allows students to use the Social Insurance Institution knowledge base when writing their academic papers. In addition, they have the opportunity to carry out internships and work placements at the Social Insurance Institution. The agreement has been annexed for another six years.
