On June 12, at the invitation of Warsaw Metropolitan Archbishop Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz, a team from the Department of General, Transplant and Liver Surgery hosted a meeting at the Warsaw Archbishops' House. Also present at the meeting was Bishop Andrzej Czaja of Opole, a member of the Permanent Council of the Polish Bishops' Conference. During the meeting, current issues concerning Polish transplantology and new challenges facing it were discussed.
