SARS-CoV-2 Sequencing and Informatics: EMBL Knowledge-Exchange Workshop

Special EMBL knowledge-exchange event on SARS-CoV-2 Sequencing and Informatics: Bridging Research into Healthcare that will be held virtually on 22 March 2021. The intention is to provide an opportunity for key scientists and healthcare providers in the EMBL member states to discuss challenges, opportunities and best practices in managing the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic using genomics and informatics-based approaches. 
 
This workshop will gather experts in high-throughput sequencing and data processing, sequence-data analysis and sharing, and phylogenetics and epidemiological analysis. Each session will conclude with a discussion panel, led by the session chair and summarizing the experience and views of all speakers in that session. The discussion sessions will also invite input from the audience. The event will conclude with a more general discussion on current experiences and sharing best practices across the EMBL member states.
