On April 6, Medical University of Warsaw became an official partner of the global campaign Fight The Fakes (FTF). The campaign seeks to build a global movement of organizations and individuals who are concerned and active in combatting the production and distribution of fake medicines. MUW is the first university in Central Europe to join the Fight The Fakes campaign.

Authorities of the Medical University of Warsaw are outraged by the situation that happened during e-learning classes in Anatomy. We would like to emphasize strongly that there is no permission for any offensive content to appear during the course of the students or other people.

Rector's Order No 49/2020 of The Medical University of Warsaw of March 13, 2020updating an order on preventing the spread of SARS -CoV-2 virus among members of the MUW community
Pursuant to § 12 section 7 of the Statute of the Warsaw Medical University, in connection with the Act of March 2, 2020 on special solutions related to the prevention, countermeasures and combating of SARS-CoV-2, other infectious diseases and emergencies caused by them (Journal of Laws item 374 of 2020), (“Act”) and in connection with the circular letter of the Rector No. 1/2020  it is ordered as follows:

Three scientists from the Medical University of Warsaw will participate in the Prof. F. Walczak Program: Dr Katarzyna Czarzasta from the Department of Experimental and Clinical Physiology; Dr Maciej Krasnodębski from the UCC MUW Department of General, Transplant and Liver Surgery; and PhD student Karol Zbroński from the I Department of Cardiology. The Prof. F. Walczak Program is a Polish National Academic Exchange Agency (NAWA) and Polish Ministry of Health award that offers internships at renowned U.S. medical centers.
