We are looking forward to the construction of the new Medical Simulation Center. Construction work started during vacation. Now the reinforcement of the foundations is underway.

We are hosting representatives of the authorities of the Bogomolets Medical University in Kiev. The rector, vice rectors and deans from the Ukrainian university came to discuss the possibility of establishing cooperation. The delegation's arrival follows a visit to Kiev by Prof. Robert Gałązkowski, Chairman of the MUW Team for Cooperation with Medical Universities from Ukraine.

It was interesting and inspiring. Nearly 70 scientific circles, and a total of several hundred students active in their structures, talked about their research and educational projects during the latest edition of the Scientific Clubs Fair. And convinced those still undecided that it's worth becoming a member of a MUW student scientific club.

The award, given by the Minister of Health, honors individuals of merit to the National Emergency Medical Service system. This year it was awarded to Dr. Marcin Podgórski from the Department of Emergency Medicine MUW for outstanding achievements in medical rescue.

This was the last 2022/2023 matriculation of the faculty. The academic community of our university has expanded by 79 representatives of medical analytics and 186 of pharmacy. - It's a good thing that the latecomers came in time for the oath, otherwise you wouldn't be students - Joanna Kolmas, MD, PhD, smiled at the group of latecomers, and then read out the words of the oath. The heroes of the ceremony repeated them chorally.

520 students are just beginning their studies at the Faculty of Dental Medicine. They were ceremonially welcomed into the academic community on October 10 in the auditorium of the Didactic Center.

During the ceremony, important words were said about what the medicine is and what the meaning of a doctor's work is. Speakers quoted scientists, writers, poets - Albert Einstein was cited most often. All this was done so that the students, who are just beginning their first year, better understand and feel the path they are about to embark on with their solemn oath.

It was an important day for 27 new managers, marking the culmination of two intensive years of study filled with more than 600 hours of classes. On October 8 this year, in the building of the Warsaw School of Economics, the graduates received diplomas from the authorities of MUW and SGH confirming their competence to effectively manage the health care sector.

October 8 marks the European Day of Donation and Transplantation, which has been organized by the Council of Europe since 1996. On the occasion of this event, Prof. Michal Grąt, head of the Chair and Department of General, Transplant and Liver Surgery UCC MUW, talked about the department's plans related to the application of the state-of-the-art methods of transplanting this organ.
