The Sports and Rehabilitation Center MUW (CSR WUM) needs to replace pool water with new water once a year. To make sure this "old" one doesn't go to waste, a truck from the City Cleaning Department came to MUW. They have taken water from the pool, so it can be reused.
Little patients of the hospital on Żwirki i Wigury Street and their parents can again use friendly spaces created especially for them on the premises of the facility. Due to the coronavirus pandemic and sanitary-epidemiological restrictions, family rooms remained closed for a long time. Now the volunteers of the Ronald McDonald Foundation are inviting the public to join them for fun, integration and workshops. All this is done to make the stay at the UCC MUW facility more pleasant for the young patients and to enable them to spend time close to their families.
More than 100 third-year nursing students at our university attended a meeting about employment opportunities at the University Clinical Center MUW right after they receive their bachelor's degree and a license to practice their profession.

Today in Poland, organs for transplantation are transported in ice. The maximum storage time for a heart taken from a donor is about four hours. There are already devices in the world that allow to extend this time up to 12 hours. The heart stored in such a device is constantly working and can be subjected to various treatments, nutrition or diagnostics.
MUW specialists will train 400 Ukrainian doctors in emergency medicine, battlefield medicine and the dressing of multiple organ injuries under wartime conditions. Medical University of Warsaw hosted a delegation from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University: Prof. Oryna Detsyk, Prof. Ulyana Kuz, Prof. Iryna Kozova, Prof. Irena Kozlova.
90 graduates of the English Division of the Faculty of Medicine have officially completed their education at our University. Accompanied by the rector's and dean's authorities, lecturers, as well as family members and friends, on June 25 in the auditorium of the Didactic Center MUW, they received their diplomas and threw their graduation caps, thus symbolically bidding farewell to MUW. - I congratulate you, pay my sincere respects and wish you a successful, exciting and rewarding journey through the world of medicine - said to the heroes of the ceremony Professor Zbigniew Gaciong, Rector of our University.
On June 25, at the headquarters of the Warsaw School of Economics, 40 participants of the special edition of this prestigious program received their graduation diplomas from the hands of Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong, Rector of the WUM, and Prof. Piotr Wachowiak, Rector of the SGH.
Today a contract was signed with the general contractor for our massive PLN 131 million investment, which is expected to be completed as early as next year. - We absolutely need such a place as the Center for Medical Simulations for proper teaching of medicine - stressed HM Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong, Rector of MUW.
The winner of this year's edition of the competition was... Agnieszka Kapłon-Cieślicka, MD, PhD, from the 1st Chair and Department of Cardiology, MUW. Among the 10 winners there were three more scientists affiliated with our university!
